Keep the calories low and the taste crisp with this simple recipe. A simple yet refreshing recipe for nights on the patio.

Ingredients:

1.5 oz whiskey (our personal favorite is Bulleit Rye Whiskey)
1/2 oz rosemary simple syrup
1/2 oz lemon juice
Club Soda
Aromatic Bitters
Sprig of rosemary and slice of apple for garnish

How To Make Rosemary Simple Syrup:

We feel that fresh Rosemary Simple Syrup really makes this recipe flourish. In a sauce pan combine one cup of sugar and one cup of water. Bring to a boil and let simmer until the sugar is dissolved. Remove the saucepan from heat and infuse 3 sprigs of fresh rosemary. Allow it to cool for 30 minutes, strain the simple syrup into a sealed container and keep refrigerated.

Cocktail Instructions:

In a cocktail glass combine the whiskey, simple syrup, and lemon juice. Stir thoroughly to blend the flavors. Add ice to your desire. Top with club soda, then dash with bitters. Add a sprig of rosemary as a garnish and sip away! Cheers!
